Grape: Merlot 100%

“Cappitano” is the name of a Bull from Alessandro and Alberto grand father from the 1950, when his family used to own a bull station for breeding. Cappitano was the biggest and magnificient of all times!

The grapes of Merlot are coming from the hills just outside Pesaro on Italy’s Adriatic coast.

The average elevation of the vineyards is 250 meters above sea level.

Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled  stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged 22 months in used French barriques with an additional 6 months in the bottle.

aromas of black current and blue berries are typical of this wine with a hint of herbal note and spices as cloves and star anise.

The tannins are velvety and persistant.
