Grape: Cortese 100%

This wine comes from the hills of Tortona.

Vines are exposed at south-east with an altitude from 250-300m above sea level.

The soil have a majority of calcareous - clay.

Vines are over 20 years old and the cultivation system is Guyot (5,500 plants per hectare).

The yeld is about 5,000 kg/hectare and grapes are normally harvested in early October, harvested by hand into small wooden baskets.

Colour is light straw yellow with greenish hues.

At the nose, we have an intense, long, constant and persistent with hints of meadow and almond flowers and sensations that range from full-fruit to flower as it evolves.

At the palate very typical according to the very best tradition, with hints of flint and walnut and with a pleasant sweet almond aftertaste in the finale.

Profilo as multiple uses, an excellent accompaniment to the whole meal. In addition to typically being served with fish, shellfish and seafood, as all white wines, it also goes well with cheese, white meats, fine poultry and light roast dishes. Perfect as an aperitif or after-dinner drink.
